It’s a great BDR to start. It’s considered one of the easier routes, with less ‘technical’ riding than the other ones. You do need to ride carefully and watch out for stuff on the trail. Amongst the people from the area that have gone, there have been a couple of incidents, so it’s not without its risks.
We only had one section of a rocky downhill, the rest was pretty straightforward (not counting the crazy driveway we went up by accident that was not a part of the track).
That said – rain, weather, etc. can change that. There is a lot of good info on the BDR site (route updates, etc.) and on advrider.com.
It’s very scenic and definitely a worthwhile trip.
