That’s kind of personal decision.

You have to trade off the possibility that it will work when you need vs that crap getting into your precision tire gauge every time you check the air pressure.

It can also make tube patching difficult if the slime doesn’t do it’s job.

I bought a used motorcycle with tubes and it came with some sort of green slime in the tubes, I couldn’t wait to install a new tube due to that junk  getting into my tire gauge.

On my 800 GS I just carry a small tire pump & a spare 21″ front inner tube. Obviously the 21″ tube will fit and work in the front but that same 21″ tube will temporarily work in the rear tire to finish a trip or get you back home.
