Owosso Vintage Motorcycle Days – 2016

The inaugural Owosso Vintage Motorcycle Days is in the books, and it looks like they have hit on a winning formula.

This is the same event that was started on TCD’er Jim Reinert’s Farm that has grown into a full fledged Vintage Days taking over N. Washington Street in Downtown Owosso.   A full assortment of vintage and cafe-style motorcycles filtered in from throughout the state.

A great crowd turned up Friday night for the ride and there was a full house on Saturday until the early afternoon storm rolled in.

Many TCD'ers were in attendance and several had their vintage Beemers on display.

The ADV riders showed up just in time to get their annual bike wash provided by the passing storm clouds.

BMW Southeast Michigan sponsored the event, and brought a display including their custom R9T.

Thanks to Jim Reinert and the many volunteer’s for making this a great event. In spite of the rain on Saturday, there was a good number of people who showed. Mark Mathes and I discovered Lula’s restaurant which has some incredible Cajun dishes, including Chicken and waffles!

Met some really great people and the locals we talked to were very happy to have us there.

I’ll post some photos as soon as I get the film developed from my old camera.
