For any road riders taking the Marriata route do not turn on rt 146 /babcock rd. Pavement turns to gravel the a water crossing.

A great weekend of riding in the wonderful SE ohio roads. Mr Allgood and  Mr Crego put together some fun routes for both Road( which I did) and Trail. If you missed this one you missed a good one. It may have been the  wrong weekend but only 4 showed for the event. This has the making of a great TCD event with something for our GS trail riders and some fantastic roads for the road riders.

Zanesville was a good location, allowing quick access to the Hocking Hills area as well as Amish area. Both offer excellent road and trail opportunities.  Thanks to Dave and Crago for putting this together. Put this on 2019 planning calendar for sure.

As sad as it was not to be staying at the Downton estate this year – Zanesville was a good (and bedbug free) alternative.

Jeff and I covered about 175 miles or so of gravel roads on Saturday, as well as blindly exploring a few uncharted gravel roads along our route down on Friday morning.

And when you get sick of eating dust kicked up on the gravel roads, you really can’t beat riding some of those twisty roads.
