The annual meeting of the BMWTCD at the Leo Mahany / Harold Meininger Senior Community Center.  Here's where we'll plot our adventures for the coming year.

We'll have coffee available, but we won't be having a pot-luck or other food this year.  We will be meeting for lunch beforehand, 11:30 a.m. at the Royal Oak Brewery (215 E 4th St, Royal Oak, MI 48067) if anyone is interested.

We will have our business meeting first, financial report, and risk-management discussion.  Following we will review our proposed calendar of activities and finalize our plans for the year.

We will be in room #8/9 in the Royal Oak Community Center (same as last year):

If you have time, please arrive at 12:45 to help set-up the room.

    • This is a TCD favorite, and we're heading to Lewiston again this year!
    • The official camp location will be Shady Acres Camp Ground (tent camping, RV hook-ups and cottages are available) just south of town.
    • For lodging in town there are lots of options available. Quite a few of us are staying at the Redwood Motor Inn right in town next to food and everything else. They also have a large fire pit right on the property.
    • Both road and adventure GPS routes will be available on the forum for download. The road routes are around 185-200 miles and the Adv Track is 155 miles.

Tawas Point State Park , East Tawas, MI. Pay memorial tribute with other TCD members to those brave sailors lost from the Edmund Fitzgerald to the icy waters of Lake Superior. We ride up to Tawas Point State Park on Saturday. Have dinner in East Tawas, then build a camp fire you can see from the moon! Either camp at the park or grab a motel in East Tawas. Turnout is weather dependent. Last year (snow) we had one rider and 3 arrived in a car. If the weather is great we could have 25-30. Last chance to sneak a ride in for the year.

Check the TCD message forum for info, updates and details.
