Annual Business & Planning meeting.
The annual BMW TCD business and planning meeting. Business
matters will be held to the minimum time possible to settle
issues, followed by the fun part - planning the TCD events
schedule for the 2008 riding season. Meeting location
is Grosse Pointe Farms Pier Park in Grosse Pointe Farms,
located at the end of Moross Rd (7 Mile Rd turns into
Moross) adjacent to Lake Saint Clair

Bring a dish to pass, setting up around 11:30 AM, with eating
at noon and the meeting afterwards. 11:30 AM- approx 4:00 PM. |

BMW Track Day at Grattan Raceway.
BMW Motorcycles of Southeast Michigan and BMW Motorcycles of Grand
Rapids are sponsoring a BMW motorcycle track day at Grattan Raceway,
near Belding, MI

on Monday, May 5. Track day run by Sportbike Track Time. Two different groups
will ride, one being a novice class and the other being a fast touring class.
Each group will have many 30 minute sessions which amounts to three plus hours
of track time. Classroom and on-track instruction is provided. The cost for the

7th Annual Sorta Camping Demo & Ride.
Depart following Pinckney breakfast at 10 AM on a fine
back roads ride to the palatial rural estate of Ruth Zimmerman
and Jim Creighton just west of Williamston, MI. Maybe some camping
equipment and techniques demo, but certainly a campfire, cookout
and good company.

Ride the fine twisties of SE Ohio with your fellow TCD riders.
SE Ohio offers up some of the tastiest twisty back roads riding anywhere,
just a few hours from home. Leave Friday noon/afternoon, spend the day
Saturday riding self-guided or led routes in the Zanesville and Athens area.

June 21-22 traditional Longest Day Ride that will allow those
who missed the ride on the real longest day of the year because of the
conflict with the RA National Rally to enjoy an 'almost' Longest Day
Ride. The only change from the traditional ride will be the date and
those in attendance. Cycle-Moore is looking forward to getting a
double-dose of the BMWTCD!

AMA Superbike races at Mid-Ohio.
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course at Lexington OH, just a few hours away from
most TCD members, is hosting the 8th round of the AMA Superbike racing
series. Superbikes are a double-header, with races both Saturday and Sunday.
The Forumala Extreme support class will race Sunday, with BMW's HP2
R1200S-derived bike competing in the class. Event and ticket info available
